The Lesbian Lion

#LFW - February 18th Review

House of Holland:

Fairly common silhouettes with a twist; great striped color blocking (something I’ve been playing around with lately); bright colors, thoughtful designs using the textiles more than thinking about the garments being made; this could easily turn into a huge mess, but it's soo not! You can see the elements in every design, and they are used in such smart ways. I’m so nerdly excited by this collection! Fun! By far, the best of the day!

Issa London:

Luxurious girl on the go; can wear these pieces at all points in your life; great variety of shine, furs, knits; practical, pretty, some true show stoppers; this girl will get noticed, whether in a fun, light print, or in a bolder metallic with black look. Lovely!

Alice Temperley:

Beautifully bold patterns and supreme confidence; this girl knows her style and owns it; so fun; beautifully cut, tailored pieces; great variety of dresses; moves from bold patterns to more demure classic pieces to metallic beauties; great showing and simple sophistication!

Honorable Mentions:

Clement Ribeiro – Nothing completely unique, but great cut clothes and cool patterns.

Moschino Cheap and Chic – Just plain fun!
